A very great honour to have been appointed by the Party Board to the position of Conservative Policy Forum National Director (voluntary). This is an exciting time for the CPF and I will be working hard with both volunteer and professional colleagues to progress the fantastic work of our policy team.

So very sorry that once again our fantastic hard working local campaign team were not able to achieve Council election success. In Dore & Totley ward we were just 470 votes off the winning margin. Not a huge distance in a large City ward - but a loss nevertheless. We will take time to re-group and I am sure return afresh in due course.

Polling day is here - obviously hoping for success here in Sheffield. We have a fantastic candidate team and in particular our Dore and Fulwood candidates have fought exceptional local election campaigns. Well over 100,000 pieces of literature has been delivered across the City and a new website launched. Sheffield needs a Conservative Voice once again! Today is also the Mayoral referendum - again very much hoping voters across the City will opt to adopt the mayoral model.
